School Board and Administrative Advisory Committee Update
Staff presented the annual update on the School Business Partnership Executive Council, highlighting the Council's role in advancing strategic school-community partnerships that support Loudoun County Public Schools' priorities. The presentation provided an overview of the Council's membership, key focus areas, partnership impact and collaborative initiatives that expand opportunities for students and families, strengthen community engagement and support student success. Staff also shared priorities for the 2026–2027 school year.
Work Session
Staff presented the inaugural State of Partnerships in Loudoun County Public Schools, highlighting the evolution, scope and impact of the division's partnership ecosystem. The presentation provided an overview of partnership growth, cross-sector collaboration and the ways partnerships strengthen instruction, connect students to career opportunities, support whole-child development, expand community engagement and advance division priorities. Staff also shared emerging opportunities and strategic priorities to further strengthen partnerships across Loudoun County Public Schools.
The 2026 LCPS Annual Staff, Student and Family (Stakeholder) Survey launched on February 19, providing a comprehensive opportunity for our entire school community to share feedback on the learning climate and operations within our schools. Data collected from this collective outreach is used as a primary tool for school-level planning and division-wide decision-making for the 2026-2027 school year.

Recognitions
The One LCPS Spotlight presentation highlighted two new educational initiatives launching in the upcoming school year: the Academy of Global and Linguistic Studies and our Dual Language Immersion Expansion. Each program will welcome its inaugural cohort of students this fall, marking an important milestone in our commitment to expanding tailored learning opportunities.
