Acting Superintendent Presents Proposed FY 2024 Budget
Loudoun County Public Schools delivered the Fiscal Year 2024 Superintendent’s Estimate of Needs to the School Board on Tuesday, January 10, at the LCPS Administrative Offices in Ashburn.

LCPS is pleased to offer free online resources -- ParentGuidance.org and My Life is Worth Living – to assist parents and caregivers in developing strategies to support their child’s mental health.

EDGE Family Academy Supports Families of Students with Gifted Potential
LCPS hosts five in-person Family Academy meetings and four virtual Family Academy meetings as a part of the Empowering Diversity in Gifted Education (EDGE), a program funded by a Jack Kent Cooke Foundation grant, as secured by the Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF).

Dominion Custodian Selected as the January Year of the Educator Winner
On Friday, Jan. 13, at Dominion High School, Dr. Daniel Smith, Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) acting superintendent, Dr. John Brewer, Dominion High principal, Kari Murphy, director of development for Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF), and a crew of staff and students assembled in the cafeteria to celebrate Blanca Reyes, a custodian at Dominion, who was randomly selected as the January Year of the Educator prize winner.

Broad Run Senior, Khang Hoang’s exceptionally high score on the Microsoft Word (Office 2019) exam led them to be named the Virginia State Champion.
