School Board Agenda Information March 28, 2023The Loudoun County School Board will hold a meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in the School Board Meeting Room at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administrative Offices, 21000 Education Court in Ashburn.
LCPS Community Listening Sessions
Join Dr. Daniel Smith, Acting Superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools, as he hosts a series of community listening sessions. The public events provide an opportunity for the LCPS community to share comments, concerns, and feedback directly to division leadership.
Policy Review ProcessLCPS regularly reviews and revises its policies. Policies 3310, 5045, 5046, 5047, 5048 and 8440 are currently posted for review.

Tuscarora Drama Teacher Uses Wolf Trap Grant to Guide Students in Play Production Process
A $5,000 Wolf Trap Grant for High School Performing Arts Teachers awarded to Tuscarora High School drama teacher Justin Daniel allowed him to guide his Theater 2, 3 and 4 students in all the steps of the play production process – from writing to directing and acting.

LCPS Middle Schools Designated as Schools to Watch
At the School Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 14, Gus Martinez, LCPS’ middle school education director, and Beth Robinson, executive principal of middle schools, announced that all LCPS middle schools have been designated as Schools to Watch by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform.

Willard Middle Math Teacher Surprised as the March Year of the Educator Winner
On a recent Friday afternoon, a large group that included Acting Superintendent Daniel Smith, Willard Middle School Principal Jeff Rounsley, Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF) Executive Director Danielle Nadler, LEF Director of Development Kari Murphy and several other LCPS staff members wound their way through the hallways of Willard Middle School for a meeting that was called under false pretenses.
