In our continued efforts to combat opioid use in our schools and community, we thought it important to share with you that it has come to our attention that smoking the opioid Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) is becoming a trend among youth in our community, and we are aware this is impacting our schools.
The Loudoun County School Board will hold a meeting at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, in the School Board Meeting Room at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administrative Offices, 21000 Education Court in Ashburn.

The Department of Teaching and Learning’s Office for Early Literacy, Elementary Reading and Writing has concluded its review of K-2 core literacy resources, and a recommendation to adopt Houghton Mifflin Harcourt - Into Reading was presented at the November 28, 2023 Loudoun County School Board meeting.
