The Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Program helps students develop strong proficiency in both Spanish and English through meaningful, content-based instruction. Centered on LCPS’s commitment to equity, access, and multilingual excellence, the program supports students in becoming bilingual, biliterate, and culturally confident learners.

LCPS launched its first elementary DLI programs at Potowmack and Sanders Corner Elementary Schools in 2023–2024. These schools continue to lead the way in offering engaging, high-quality bilingual learning experiences.
