CoSN, the Consortium for School Networking, honored Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) with its 2026 District Team Leadership Award at its annual conference in Chicago on Friday, April 17. CoSN is a premier association of K-12 education technology leaders.
The award celebrates a district leadership team whose strategic use of technology has had a transformative impact on student learning. LCPS was recognized for its team of more than 270 technology leaders, who work together to use technology to transform student learning, empower teachers, strengthen partnerships with families, and serve their community with intention and care.
“I am very proud of the outstanding Digital Innovation Team here at Loudoun County Public Schools and their well-deserved recognition with the CoSN District Team Leadership Award,” said Dr. Aaron Spence, Superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools. “Their commitment to innovative, student-centered solutions is transforming how we support learning across our division. This award reflects their unwavering focus on empowering every student to succeed and make meaningful contributions to the world.”
LCPS embraces the belief that transformative technology leadership is a team effort, built on people, trust, collaboration, and a shared commitment to students. Through the LCPS Department of Digital Innovation, the county manages projects that impact over 80,000 students every day.
“Loudoun County Public Schools exemplifies what’s possible when district leaders work together with a shared vision for students.
