The Tolbert Elementary School Chorus led the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the National Anthem.

One LCPS Spotlight: Sully Elementary School presented their systematic approach to professional learning, how it aligns with the Instructional Framework focus on responsiveness, and resulting improved student outcomes.

The School Board:
Heard a presentation of the 2025-2026 Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Business Honor Roll nominees, whose representatives will be publicly recognized at the March 24, 2026, school board meeting.
Took action on the report on Policy 8160, Exceptions to School Assignment Due to Attendance Zone Change, and approved that certain current grade four students rezoned to attend a different elementary school with the 2026-2027 academic year to remain at their current elementary school for grade five.
Discussed the review of the Middleburg Community Charter School’s proposed 2026-2027 school calendar.
