Consent Agenda
The Board approved the consent agenda, including six proclamations.
School Board and Administrative Advisory Committee Update
The School Board heard an update on the Student Health Advisory Board's work, including current initiatives, identified needs and recommendations for continued improvement in student health and wellness supports.
Work Session
The Board heard an update from the Division of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility, and the Department of Student Services provided a review of annual restraint and seclusion data reporting for the 2024-2025 school year.

Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem were led by the Rock Ridge High School Chorus.
Recognitions
Loudoun County Public Schools and Loudoun Education Collective Bargaining Team members signed the collective bargaining agreements for the Certified Employees and Non-Certified Employees Bargaining Units. The signed agreements will take effect at the beginning of Fiscal Year 2027 and remain in effect until the close of Fiscal Year 2029.

Superintendent’s Report
Included highlights from around the division like the observance of School Board Appreciation Month, information on the Potowmack Elementary Kindness Fair and the United For Wellness Mental Health Conference and Resource Fair.
Public Comment
Community members participated virtually and in person to provide comments on a range of topics.
Action Items
The School Board approved that the Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) Multi-Year School Support Plans be submitted to VDOE for state approval; approved that Policy 2310, Committees of the School Board be revised to establish a Standing Committee for Audit; and, approved the revision of Policy 3410, Office of the Auditor General, to bring it in line with the newly established Standing Committee for Audit.

Included a review of draft New Policy 5140 from the Curriculum & Instruction Committee regarding Advanced or Accelerated Mathematics and a recommendation for the Social Sciences and Global Studies (SSGS) Instructional Resource from the Department of Teaching and Learning.
Discussion Item
The Board discussed Safety and Security measures for elementary schools and heard a summary of current security measures across all school levels.
