The Loudoun County School Board held a meeting at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, in the School Board Meeting Room at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administrative Offices, 21000 Education Court in Ashburn.

Work Session
Staff presented information regarding the Grant Fund, Lease Purchase, and School Nutrition Fund, as proposed in the FY27 Superintendent’s Estimate of Needs, as part of the FY27 budget adoption process.

Superintendent’s Report
Included highlights from around the division, including a heartfelt thanks to the folks who worked so hard to clear the grounds and keep the schools safe and warm during the recent inclement weather.

Public Comment
Community members participated virtually and in person to provide the School Board with comments on a range of topics.

Action Items
The School Board considered three policies from the Finance & Operations Committee; an Amendment to Charter Agreement for Middleburg Community Charter School; and two policies from the Student Behavior and Accountability Committee.
