Loudoun County Public Schools is officially kicking off its Annual Awards program, which contains categories for all school-based personnel and a majority of non-school-based employees.

Nominations can be submitted by staff, parents, students and/or community members for an outstanding employee based on their exemplary performance. Self-nominations, or submissions from an employee's relative, will not be accepted. Award winners from the 2024-2025 school year are not eligible. Nominations from the public for Teacher of the Year will be sent to the individual school for consideration. Each school is allowed to submit one nomination to the division for Teacher of the Year. All nominations will be celebrated at the school level. Nominations from the public for Principal of the Year will be sent to the level director for consideration. A selection committee composed of current LCPS staff and community members will review nomination materials and use a standardized rubric to determine winners. Performance and past evaluations will be considered.
