Back-to-school season is always brighter when our schools and community come together to support students. We are proud to spotlight recent collaborations between LCPS, the Division of Family and Community Engagement (FACE), and other departments that joined our community partners to provide resources for our students.
F
ACE and the Division of Career, Technical and Adult Education (CTAE) partnered with the Broadlands Rotary Club to deliver backpacks to Leesburg, Meadowland and Sugarland elementary schools, helping students begin the year ready to learn.
Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, a long-standing LCPS partner, supported students and families through the Heroes and Hornets Backpack Initiative, ensuring Sully Elementary students were prepared and confident for the first day.
F
ACE also worked with several additional generous partners who supported students with supplies and resources to get them ready for school.
These initiatives highlight how LCPS, FACE, and other departments work with community partners to provide resources and build a stronger sense of connection around our students. Learn more about the Division of Family and Community Engagement.
