Farmwell Station MS has been recognized as a Virginia Naturally Schools for the 2024-25 school year, by the Department of Wildlife Resources of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The goal of the school recognition program is to recognize the efforts undertaken by Virginia schools that increase the environmental awareness and stewardship of its students. Courtney Hallacher, Chair of the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources Virginia Naturally Schools, mentions this about Farmwell in the communication, " We love that environmental topics and hands-on experiences are woven throughout grade levels and subject areas!".
A big shout-out to Mrs. Gomathinayagam, 7th grade Science teacher, for leading this incredible effort once again. With the support of her fellow teachers, she has helped our school earn this prestigious award for the third consecutive year!
