What are Sibshops?

Sibshops are a place for typically developing students who have a sibling with a disability and/or health care needs to receive peer support and have fun! Siblings meet with other siblings to laugh and talk about the good and not-so-good parts of having a sibling with support needs. They play games, celebrate their siblings’ strengths and talk about challenges while learning about how each other successfully navigates relationships.

Who are Sibshops for?

Typically developing students from 7 to 17 years old who have a sibling with a disability.

How do I get my student involved?

Talk to Lottie Kohl (lottie.kohl@lcps.org), the BRM School Social Worker, to find out more and get signed up!
