Intriguing New Research…is verifying that achievement in life is less about intelligence and more about the ability to persevere. Grit, the ability to develop sustained effort over long periods of time, is one of the key factors in academic achievement. Neil McNerney, a licensed professional counselor, author, and parenting expert, will share with you an easy-to-understand model of the concept of Grit and give parents specific strategies to encourage and develop Grittiness in students.
