Hunter Kleffman is the 6th Grade Dean and starting his fourth year at Trailside. Mr. Kleffman previously taught Social Studies and worked as an academic dean assisting juniors and seniors at Park View High School. He has been in education for 10 years and has enjoyed every bit of it! Hunter is a local to the area, as he lived in Sterling Park and Ashburn while growing up. He graduated from Broad Run High School, then earned a Bachelor's in History with a focus on Secondary Education at Radford University. While teaching, Hunter earned a Masters in Educational Leadership through Old Dominion University.

Hunter has been married for 7 years to his wife Callie, who is also an elementary educator in Loudoun County. They have three children, Casey (5), Elsie (2), and Cooper (>1). He loves his family and spends as much time as he can playing games, watching Bluey or Peppa Pig, and having movie nights with his children. He is a big Washington sports fan and follows the Commanders and the Nationals very closely.

Hunter is excited about assisting and supporting the 6th graders as they continue their journey through Trailside!

I am excited to be working as the 6th Grade House Office Administrative Assistant at Trailside Middle School. I attended Northern Virginia Community College. I am originally from Guatemala City; I moved to the United States at a young age.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my three children. We enjoy watching movies and playing outdoors.

I am beyond excited to be part of Trailside Middle School. GO TIMBERWOLVES!
