All enrolled PFHS students in grades 9-11 are registered to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 7 (9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.). All 9th graders take the PSAT 8/9, while all 10th- and 11th-graders take the PSAT/NMSQT. Seniors are not testing but will do special activities here at school.
All PSAT tests are DIGITAL (online). LCPS covers the cost for the PSAT. We don't offer make-up tests for students who are late or absent.
WHAT STUDENTS MUST BRING ON PSAT DAY: All students must bring their fully charged school Chromebook and sharpened pencils. A snack and/or water to enjoy during the break is recommended since lunches will start late and run past 2 PM.
PSAT Student Readiness Check will take place during a 45 Minute Extended Advisory on Wednesday, September 30. Students in grades 9-11 must bring their school Chromebooks. In this session, students will sign into Bluebook (the app used for testing) and complete exam setup. Students will also be given their Testing Room assignments. Students can also check their LCPS Student Email for their Testing Room assignment starting on September 30.
