Consequences for Tardies to School/Class

Overview

School starts at 9:30 AM and all students are expected to be on time. Tardies have an impact on academics, athletics, VHSL participation, and other extracurricular activities and events.

In order to participate in the day’s activities, athletes, students involved in clubs and organizations, and students involved in performing arts events must arrive by 9:30 AM. Arrival after 9:30 AM must be accompanied by a doctor’s note, dentist’s note, court letter, or prior approval of the principal in order to participate in that day's events or events over the weekend.
