On Tuesday, December 9th, Sugarland Elementary Wildcats were treated to a massive surprise! Teachers and staff secretly planned an Underground Spirit Day to celebrate the 67th Day of School, inspired by the viral social media trend: 6-7.
🎁 What is an Underground Spirit Day?
Unlike a regular Spirit Day, the theme for an Underground Spirit Day is kept completely secret! Students only find out when they walk through the doors and see the decorations and special activities planned just for them—a true moment of unexpected fun.
✨ The 6-7 Transformation
The Transformation Zone: Our awesome librarian, Kim Grim, decorated the entrance with balloons and a sign for students to pose with
Staff Spirit: Many staff members wore outfits to celebrate.
Wildcat Goals: Some classrooms planned special 6-7 themed tasks, such as coloring sheets, word searches, paper crown creations, and drawing activities.

The surprise day was a huge success, boosting energy and community spirit among all our Wildcats. It was a wonderful way to acknowledge all the hard work everyone has put in so far!
