Veterans Day

Our school held a deeply moving Veterans Day assembly today, bringing students, staff, and local veterans together to honor the sacrifices of those who have served our country.

Ms. Hill directs students

A Patriotic Performance

The gymnasium was filled with pride as our 4th-grade students, under the direction of our incredible music director, Ms. Hill, performed a wonderful selection of patriotic songs. Their clear voices and heartfelt performance were a beautiful tribute to the men and women of the armed forces. It was a powerful reminder of the meaning of this important day.

Welcoming Our Veterans

A special highlight of the event was welcoming the veterans from our community who joined us as honored guests. Their presence was deeply appreciated by our entire student body and faculty. Students had the opportunity to shake hands and thank them for their service, creating meaningful connections across generations.

Remebering Mr. Funkhouser's Service

A Moment for Mr. Funkhouser

The assembly concluded with a moment to remember the service of our beloved PE teacher, Mr. Funkhouser, who recently passed away. Mr. Funkhouser was a proud veteran, and his dedication, both in the classroom and to his country, will be dearly missed. His memory serves as an enduring example of commitment and character for all of us.

We thank all veterans for their service and sacrifice, and we are proud to continue this tradition of honoring them.
