Each year during the third full week of October, Common Sense Media leads Digital Citizenship Week, an annual campaign to promote a healthy, balanced, and positive approach to media and tech use among young people. Visit their family resource page to learn what you can do at home.

Here at Leesburg Elementary, we are celebrating with a Digital Citizenship Spirit Week.  

Monday, October 20 - How do we balance our time with technology?  (No School) Celebrate by getting outside and moving. Spend time in nature or with your family.

Tuesday, October 21 - What footprints are we leaving behind? Wear wacky socks to think about your digital footprint!

Wednesday, Oct 22 - Unity Day! How can we be kind and stand up for others online? Wear orange, which represents standing up against bullying and cyberbullying.Celebrating Unity Day

Thursday, Oct. 23 - How can we know if something we see or hear is true? Wear a "thinking hat" to remember to ask questions about what we see online.

Friday, Oct 24 - How can we be “Respectful & Responsible” online? Wear Leesburg Elementary Spirit wear to remind ourselves how we can be safe and kind online. Soar with Four!
