Hovatter Elementary is proud to celebrate an incredible achievement from our Odyssey of the Mind program! For the first time in our school’s history, a Hovatter team competed at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals, earning an impressive 15th place finish out of 54 teams in their division and problem from around the globe.

This accomplishment reflects months of dedication, creativity, and teamwork. The students committed themselves to a rigorous process: designing, testing, revising, and refining their solution while navigating challenges and growing stronger as a team. Through persistence and collaboration, they developed a performance that showcased both their ingenuity and their determination.

On the world stage, our students demonstrated the very best of what Hovatter represents. They showcased exceptional creativity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work together effectively under pressure. Competing alongside some of the most talented teams worldwide, they rose to the occasion with confidence and pride.

Reaching the World Finals is a significant milestone in itself, and placing 15th among 54 outstanding teams is truly remarkable. Even more meaningful than the ranking, however, is the experience the students gained along the way. They represented Hovatter Elementary with enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and resilience, creating memories and building skills that will last a lifetime.

We are incredibly proud of this team and all they have accomplished. Their journey is an inspiration to our entire Hive and a shining example of what students can achieve when they are given the opportunity to think creatively, collaborate, and persevere.
