In an action by the Loudoun County School Board, E-bikes are now prohibited from being ridden on campus at all LCPS schools. Prohibited Devices for Use on School Campuses:

• Motorized Personal Transport: E-bikes, mopeds, motorized skateboards, motorized scooters, golf carts, go-karts, low-speed vehicles, surreys, and battery-operated ride-on vehicles.

• Motorized Toys: Drones, model airplanes, helicopters, hovercraft, and similar remote-controlled or electronic devices.

Arrival and Dismissal Rules:

• Arrival: Students may ride/operate these devices to and from the campus boundary. Upon reaching the school entrance, students must disembark and walk their mode of transport directly to its designated parking area.

• Dismissal: At the end of the day, students must walk their mode of transport all the way to the school property line before starting or riding it.

• Helmets should be utilized at all times.
