New Student Orientation and Back to School Celebration Updates

Be sure to plan to be there for our Back to School Celebration on Monday, August 18th.

  • New Student Orientation from 4:30 PM-5:30 PM for 9th Grade and new students and their parents/guardians

    Come find out more about what it’s like to be part of the PRIDE, see the school, and meet your school’s leadership team.

  • State of the School Town Hall from 5:30 PM-6:00 PM for students and families from all grade levels in the Heritage Auditorium. Come hear from Heritage leadership about our goals for the upcoming year and get your questions answered.

  • Back to School Celebration from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM for all grades. Please use the schedule as it appears in ParentVue/StudentVUE to help you navigate to the correct rooms. Stop by the food trucks out front, meet the teachers, and explore the building. This is a come-and-go event, so please feel free to stop by anytime between 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Teachers will have class information. Students who cannot attend the event but would like the updated schedule information can check StudentVUE or ParentVUE or contact the Counseling Office. Please note: the Back to School Celebration is in lieu of a traditional Open House.

In addition to visiting classes, please take advantage of our additional offerings that evening:

  • Lion's Den (School Store) Open from 6-8 PM

  • Clinic Open from 4-8 PM to drop off medication or to say hi to Nurse Stephan

  • Athletic Department available in the Main Gym to answer questions

  • Tech Device Questions and Pick-up in the Library with Ms. Jacobs and Ms. Neil (see below)

  • IB Question and Answers in the Library with Mr. Uribarri

  • Grading /Homework/Teacher Perspective Q&A in the Library from 4:30-5:45 with Ms. Horton, our Social Science Department Chair

  • Schoollinks (our Career and College program) Q&A in the Career Center from 4:30-5:45 with our Counseling staff.

  • Food TRUCKS! Babu Ji, ResQ BBQ, Glo's Kitchen, and Hershey's Ice Cream will be open from 4:30 until 8:00 PM.
