Ms. Pati Alfaro, I-Marl

I’m excited to begin my first year at Heritage High School and my 11th year as a school counselor. Before joining the Heritage community, I spent a year at another high school in Loudoun County Public Schools and several years in Fairfax County Public Schools. I began my post-secondary education at Northern Virginia Community College and went on to earn both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Education in School Counseling from George Mason University.

I’m a proud mom of three, and our home is full of energy with two small dogs and a bearded dragon. I enjoy trying new foods, listening to a good podcast, and dancing around the house with my kids. I also speak Spanish and go by Pati (short for Patricia, my middle name).

I look forward to getting to know my students and their families and being a supportive, approachable resource throughout the high school experience.
