Registration for the 26-27 school year
If your child is already enrolled in LCPS, there is no action item needed for registration for the 26-27 school year.
Kindergarten Registration- If you have a rising Kindergartner for next school year, Kindergarten registration is open for the 2026-27 school year. Please visit this link for more information. Priority Registration- The Priority Registration window is now open. The purpose of Priority Registration is to ensure to the greatest extent possible based on space availability, that incoming kindergarten and/or first grade students will be able to attend their zoned school of attendance in which their older sibling(s) are already enrolled. If you have an incoming Kindergarten or first grade student, please complete this survey, by February 2, 2026, https://permission.click/rVKqn/int . Please note that siblings of students attending by Special Permission do not receive priority registration.”
Special Permission- If your child is currently attending EME on Special Permission, the window for next school year is open from February 2- April 30, 2026. Special Permission is only for one year. Parents/guardians of a student currently attending a school through Special Permission are required to renew Special Permission requests annually if they wish for their child to remain at the Special Permission school.
