The Office of Student Services (OSS) oversees School Counseling Services, Student Health Services, Student Assistance Services, Student Support Services, Outreach Services, McKinney Vento, Registration, Attendance, Homebound Services and Special Permission. The mission of the Office of Student Services is to provide school staff, families, and students access to resources that eliminates obstacles, provides access for all, and enables students to succeed as individuals within the learning environment. Through leadership, program development and evaluation, staff development and training, and support for all student services programs, the Office of Student Services ensures that all stakeholders are fully supported and informed.
Our mission is to support parent liaisons, interpreters, and the community school initiative and connect students and families to the school community. We also connect with community and business partners to identify resources that will help all students achieve educational success.
Our mission is to help parents, students, and school staff identify physical and mental health needs that interfere with learning. SSS staff work with all stakeholders to identify the resources and services students need to succeed. Social Workers also work with general and special education students and their families to resolve social, emotional, and behavioral barriers.
