Meet our Family Liaison:

Hi Hillside Families - My name is Jenny Crabb. My family and I have lived in Broadlands for 18 years.  Both of my sons attended Hillside, have graduated from Briar Woods and are now attending college. While my boys attended Hillside, I was involved in the PTO as a member and at PTO President.  Afterwards, I was a substitute teacher and later taught 5th grade at Legacy Elementary.  I am very happy to be part of the Hillside Family again!  

Welcome to the Family Liaison Page

My role as your Family Liaison is to bridge the gap between home and school by helping you, the parent, get the information you need to ensure your student's academic and social success.

As your Parent Liaison, I am dedicated to:

• Build Trust: Strengthen the connection between families and the educational community.

• Promote Involvement: Help families engage in their child's education by providing access to school resources, technology, and opportunities.

• Support Academic Achievement: Guide families to resources that enhance their child's academic success including community agency referrals.

• Enhance Communication: Improve parent-school communication through proper contacts and relationship-building with school staff.

If your family anticipates needing assistance of any kind this school year, please complete this Resource Request Form.  This is not a guarantee of services, but we will do what we can to assist you or provide you with available resources.  

There are times when it can be uncomfortable asking questions or sharing your concerns with the school staff.  That is where I come in to help!  All of our interactions would be confidential and I will do my best to answer your questions and/or address your specific situation. Hawks Helping Hawks

In our caring community, many of you are eager to help others in times of need. For that reason, the Hawks Helping Hawks network was created.. Throughout the year, as needs arise, I will reach out to the group. Requests may include purchasing/donating an item, information about upcoming clothing and food drives, or donating a service. If you are interested in joining the group, please complete this Hawks Helping Hawks Form.
