It is with great enthusiasm that I continue my administrative journey as the Principal of Goshen Post Elementary.  As I step into this role, I am filled with optimism for the future of our school. I aim to build on the existing strengths and commitment to foster a learning community through partnership. With continued collaboration, we will build on the strong foundation already in place and continue to strive for excellence.

I am completing my 13th year in education. I have served as an assistant principal in Frederick County Public Schools and previously taught and held leadership positions with DC Prep Public Charter and Loudoun County Public Schools.

My dedication to Goshen Post’s Project Based Learning vision will remain the focus as we continue to ensure authenticity, equity, and empathy remain the center of these learning opportunities. I am truly “Committed to achieving excellence through authentic, rigorous experiences for every child, every day!”

You are welcome to contact me with any questions, concerns, or wonderings. Together, we will have a positive influence in the lives of our students.

Go, Gators!

Mrs. Diana Adler

I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal at Goshen Post Elementary School. It’s an honor to join such a warm, vibrant, and student-centered community.

Although this will be my first year in Loudoun County Public Schools, I’ve spent the past 16 years in education, working in a variety of settings—rural, urban, and multicultural—which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique strengths every school community brings. I began my teaching career in Nottoway County Public Schools, where I spent four years building a strong foundation as an educator. For the past twelve years, I’ve been part of Alexandria City Public Schools, serving as a Classroom Teacher, English Language Learners teacher, and Dean/Instructional Mentor. Most recently, my work focused on using collaborative data analysis to identify student academic, socio-emotional, and behavioral needs and align instructional strategies and targeted interventions to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Longwood University. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about fostering a positive, inclusive, and academically engaging environment where all students are empowered to thrive. I’m proud to join a team that is committed to achieving excellence through authentic and rigorous experiences for every child, every day.

Please don’t hesitate to say hello, or reach out with questions. I believe that open communication and collaboration are essential to student success, and I welcome your input, questions, and partnership throughout the school year.

I am honored to be joining the Goshen Post community as the Administrative Dean for the 2024-2025 school year.  I spent the past ten years working at Sully Elementary School in Sterling, first as a classroom teacher, and most recently as the School Based Instructional Facilitator.  I earned both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from James Madison University and earned my Post Masters Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University.

I am looking forward to working with you as we support Goshen Post’s mission of committing to achieving excellence through authentic, rigorous experiences for every child, every day.  I look forward to meeting and getting to know the Goshen Post community!  Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
