International Baccalaureate Program (IB)

LCPS currently has two International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools, Loudoun Valley High School and Heritage High School, which offer the IB Diploma Program (DP). For further information about IB and its programs, visit the website.

IB Enrollment Timeline: 

  • Round 1 Offers:  March 16th to 19th

  • Round 2 Offers:  March 23rd to 26th 

  • Spring Break ~ No Offers

  • Round 3 Offers:  April 6th to April 9th 

  • Ongoing enrollment will continue as needed for each program and will take place within a Monday-Thursday window.

Park View High School is a Candidate School for the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Park View High School believes is important for our students.

Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).
