Chorus

This year, our Wildcat Advanced Treble Choir was selected to perform at the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) Annual Conference in Richmond. This is a tremendous honor: Willard will be the first middle school choir from Loudoun County ever invited to perform at the conference. With only five choir performance slots available each year, the selection process is extremely competitive, and Wildcat Advanced Treble is the only middle school choir selected to perform this year. For some perspective, think of this as the musical equivalent of a travel team making it to states. This is one of the biggest stages our choir program can reach in Virginia. Our students will perform for an audience of music educators from across the Commonwealth, representing not only Willard, but LCPS Fine Arts as a whole. The performance is on November 19, and our students and choir directors have been working extremely hard to prepare for the performance. I cannot wait to travel to Richmond and see them shine their light!
