We’re excited to see so many students riding their bikes, e-bikes, and scooters to school—it’s a great way to stay active and independent! As this trend grows, it’s important for families to know the safety rules to help keep everyone safe.
Helmets are required by law for anyone under 15 riding a bike, e-bike, scooter, skateboard, or electric mobility device.
E-Bikes come in 3 classes—Class 3 riders under 14 must be supervised by an adult.
All riders must follow traffic laws, signal when passing, and yield to pedestrians on sidewalks and trails.
Parents, please supervise young riders and make helmet use a non-negotiable habit. Let’s work together to keep our students and neighborhoods safe!
