PEAK Week 2026 (Grade 6 Orientation)

Rising 6th Grade Camp | Sponsored by Watson Mountain's PTO

Please Complete the PEAK Week 2026 Form to begin the registration process!

Watson Mountain Middle School's PEAK (Participate in Early Awareness and Kinship) Week camp allows our rising sixth grade students to get accustomed to middle school life prior to the start of school.

Students will practice the middle school schedule as they rotate through 8 classes a day that teach them the ins and outs of Watson Mountain. Students will go on a school tour followed by a scavenger hunt around the school to get them familiar with the layout; practice important middle school skills including reading a middle school schedule and opening lockers; learn time management, organization techniques, and study skills to help students be successful in middle school; and meet new students from other schools who will be in their classes next school year. They will learn everything they need to know in order to be successful at the start of school.

This two day camp will take place Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31 from 9:00am-3:00pm. Students will attend both days.

The cost of the camp is $150. This amount covers all materials, a t-shirt, a daily lunch (the lunch selection form will be sent out in July), and staffing costs. Financial assistance is available upon request (email Matthew.Hoyler@lcps.org for financial aid). The payment link is located at the end of this form. Please do not pay until you have filled out the form.

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL BOTH THE REGISTRATION FORM (BELOW) AND PAYMENT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED!

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: JUNE 30, 2026.

**Late Registrations open until July 23, 2026. Students who are registered late are not guaranteed to get a t-shirt.

Refunds will not be issued after JUNE 30, 2026.
