School counselors are certified/licensed educators with the minimum of a Master's degree in School Counseling. We are uniquely qualified to address the academic, career, and personal/social needs of all scholars. School counselors serve to promote and enhance scholar success by designing, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive school counseling program.

Bullying Prevention and Education

Bullying Prevention at Cardinal Ridge Elementary School

Our Bullying Prevention Coordinator is Ms. Allison Mosher.

If you have any concerns regarding bullying, please contact Ms. Allison Mosher.

Loudoun County Public Schools implement a county-wide bullying prevention program to teach scholars how to identify bullying behavior and appropriate ways to solve possible bullying concerns. LCPS School Counselors provide a Bullying Prevention curriculum (through Second Step) which is delivered to all scholars in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This evidence-based program provides scholars with four bullying prevention lessons each year. The lesson focuses on 3R’s, and teaches scholars how to Recognize, Report, and Refuse bullying behavior.
