  • The Middleburg Community Charter School (MCCS) Board of Directors (BoD), a 501(c)(3), is dedicated to finding skilled and experienced leaders to help continue its work in providing scholars across Loudoun County a unique educational experience centered in the philosophy, life, and learning of Leonardo da Vinci. MCCS is a Project-Based Learning school with a focus on the Arts; its scholars develop problem-solving abilities, social-emotional intelligence, and global citizenship skills through integrated, thematic instruction.

Located in the heart of charming Middleburg, Virginia, MCCS is a K-5 Loudoun County Public School (LCPS) and one of two charter schools in the county. MCCS is a true community school and, through Place-Based Education, scholars are active participants in the town, participating in walking field trips and community events. Enrollment to MCCS is by lottery, with a maximum capacity of 150 scholars.

If you are interested in serving as a volunteer member of the BoD, please submit a letter of intent and resume to mccsboardofdirectors@gmail.com
