Summer Office Hours and Return to school in 2021-2022 – The main office will be open from 8:30-3:30 during the summer. (It’s true, we work through the summer vacation period.) During this time your administrators will work on our return-to-school plans. Our focus will be to transition the school from hybrid instruction back to a traditional Monday-Friday schedule. All students will return in-person to public schools in the fall. Face masks will not be required. Desk shields will be stored away and cafeteria tables for classes will return. Students will have their specials in-person and be able to collaborate with each other in the classroom.
We now know what it looks like for a virtual learning community and while it did help us through difficult circumstances, we all know the value of coming to school each day and connecting with others to learn. We look excitedly to the fall and the opportunity to work with your children face-to-face, again.
Many books are still missing from our Reading Specialists - Ms. Doubleday, Mrs. Forte, Mrs. Epperson, and Ms. Breeden. If your child worked with one of these ladies, this year or last year, please look around for books that need to be returned to school. They can be put in the green bin at the front door of the school. Thanks so much!
