RECOGNITIONS
Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Middle/Intermediate School Supervisor Barbara Nichols introduced Harper Park Middle School Principal Sam Shipp, River Bend Middle School Principal Ben Lacey, Eagle Ridge Middle School Principal Bridget Beichler and Farmwell Station Middle School Principal Sherryl Loya as the recipients of the Schools to Watch honor. Harper Park and River Bend middle schools are first-time winners of this award while Eagle Ridge and Farmwell Station were recertified as past winners. Schools to Watch is a program of the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform. LCPS Science Supervisor Odette Scovel introduced the winners of the 2010 Loudoun Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Minutes; Licensed and Classified Personnel Actions; Construction Change Order; Construction Status Report; Deed of Easement Between the Loudoun County School Board, the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and the Loudoun County Sanitation Authority – Stone Hill Middle School Property; Exemption from School Attendance for Religious Reasons; IFB #201, Floor Stripper, Renewal; IFB #251, Wrestling Uniforms and Equipment for Tuscarora and Woodgrove High Schools; IFB #252, Floor Finish; IFB #257, Miscellaneous Furniture for New Schools and Ongoing Needs; IFB #258, Brass and Woodwinds for New Schools and Ongoing Needs; IFB #10-14, Auditorium Dimmer System Replacement, Park View High School; and a Proclamation for Better Hearing and Speech Month.

INFORMATION
Pupil Services: Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services Dr. Mary Kealy and Director of Special Education Mary Kearney presented the 2010-2011 Annual Plan for Special Education and Application for Federal Funds.
Planning and Legislative Services: Dr. Sam Adamo, the executive director of the LCPS Planning and Legislative Services Department, discussed the planning climate for the potential boundaries for HS-7 and J. Michael Lunsford Middle School. Adamo also discussed the Capital Facilities Planning Guidelines.

DELEGATIONS

Edver Bourne spoke to the need for considering diversity in making decisions and about budget issues. Eileen Murdock spoke about a disciplinary matter. Dave Donald, Cory Donald and Kim Burns commented on grade weighting. Kim Facey, Sue McArthur, Bill Munley and Barbara Osborne spoke about the proposed HS-7/J. Michael Lunsford Middle School boundaries.
