LCPS Update on School Activities

Dear LCPS Families,

As you are likely aware, Loudoun County remains under an Air Quality Alert, according to the National Weather Service and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. I am writing to share an update on how this alert may affect graduation ceremonies and other LCPS events taking place over the next several days.

GRADUATION CEREMONIES

Our LCPS staff and I are looking forward to celebrating our seniors on Friday, June 9. Due to the air quality concerns in our region, all schools hosting graduations outside are planning for a potential alternative indoor location. They will communicate this information to you directly should a change in venue become necessary.

The safety and well-being of our entire school community is our top priority. We are monitoring the situation closely and working to ensure that we provide a safe environment that is in the best interests of our students, families, staff, and guests. Please stay tuned for further updates from your school.
