Parents are reminded to register students new to LCPS
Loudoun County parents are reminded that students must be registered to attend Loudoun County Public Schools when classes start on Thursday, August 26.
Only families of kindergarten students or families new to Loudoun County need to register. If your child has previously attended an LCPS school, their registration is complete.
The process begins with Pre-Registration in ParentVUE, the school division’s student information management system. The District Online Pre-Registration page has step-by-step instructions for creating a ParentVUE account.
FAQs, helpful videos and additional how-to documents can be found on the District ParentVUE Resource page.
Parents registering their children must provide proof of age, identity, country residency and immunizations. LCPS provides a list of documents needed to register.
Once pre-registration is complete, parents should contact their child’s school to schedule an appointment to finalize the registration. An email address for the registrar at each school is available on the school’s homepage. Registration is not complete until all required documentation has been received by the school.
Questions about the registration process should be directed to your child’s school.
