Ford’s Fish Shack Owner Stafford Is VATFACS Award Winner
Tony Stafford, the owner of Ford’s Fish Shack, has been awarded the 2021 Outstanding Business and Industry Award by the Virginia Association for Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (VATFACS).
The Outstanding Business and Industry Award recognizes business and industry partners throughout the state that support family and consumer sciences programs. These could include but are not limited to: partnerships, mentorships, and/or donations. Businesses involved in local Family and Consumer Sciences Advisory Councils and businesses hiring Family and Consumer Sciences students were considered for this award.
Stafford is the former chair of the Loudoun County School-Business Partnership Executive Council.
VATFACS is an organization dedicated to promoting family and consumer sciences in Virginia public schools to improve the lives of our students, their families and our communities. Its mission is to provide professional development opportunities for family and consumer sciences teachers and opportunities for collaboration with family and consumer sciences professionals.
