School Board Agenda December 15


The Loudoun County School Board will hold a virtual meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 15.

The board will consider five action items during the meeting: Adoption of New Policy 1035, School Board Norms, Protocols and Violations; Proposed Changes to Policy 6210, Student Transportation; the Fiscal Year 2022-Fiscal Year 2027 Capital Improvement Program; Capital Asset Preservation Program Budgets; CARES Act Funds Return to Loudoun County; and Dulles Area Elementary School Attendance Zones, Including the Establishment of an Attendance Zone for Hovatter Elementary School.

Live public comment will be accepted virtually and aired in real time during the meeting at the direction of the Chair. Citizens who wish to make live public comment may register by visiting this link on the Citizen Participation section of the  School Board webpage. Telephone registration will open at 8 a.m. Monday.  Telephone registrations will be taken at 571-252-1030. Registration closes one hour before the start of the meeting on Tuesday.

 

Written comments also are accepted from the public in advance of School Board meetings. Members of the public who wish to submit written comments are invited to use this form to do so.

 

The meeting will be live-streamed on LCPS.org and televised on Comcast channel 18 and Verizon FIOS channel 43.

 

The School Board may reconvene this meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, if necessary. Public comment will be accepted only at the December 15 portion of the meeting.
