NJROTC Admissions Application Opens November 30


The NJROTC (Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps) Admissions Application for the 2021 – 2022 school year will open at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020. 


The application is open only to current Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) eighth-graders. The application is completed through an online application portal and will be available through Friday, January 22, 2021. 


Interested students may visit Military Science Admissions for 2021-2022 School Year beginning Monday, November 30, 2020, to complete the online application. More information about this program may be found here.


The NJROTC program is located at Loudoun County High School, 415 Dry Mill Road SW, Leesburg. This is the only military science program in Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS).


Students accepted into the program will become a student of Loudoun County High School. This means accepted students will attend Loudoun County High School every day for the next four years.


The NJROTC program will host a virtual information session at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020. Attendees must pre-register using this link. A virtual meeting link will be sent to participants who register. The registration link will expire on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Attendance at the NJROTC Information Session is not required to complete an application.


Private-school or home-schooled students residing in Loudoun County must formally apply to be a student with LCPS at their zoned school prior to completing the NJROTC application.
