School Buildings Available to Retrieve Critical Items
Although Loudoun County Public Schools buildings are closed, to accommodate requests from families and students to retrieve medicines, laptops, and other personal belongings, buildings will be available for short visits today, March 12, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and tomorrow, March 13, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Since buildings are not officially open, visitors must check in at main offices upon arrival and plan to spend as little time as possible on campus while retrieving essential belongings.
As we announced earlier today, LCPS classes and all other activities in LCPS facilities have been canceled through March 20. While Loudoun County has not experienced the extent of presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 as some other areas within our nation or globally and has not had cases that meet the definition of community transmission, we made this decision out of an abundance of caution. We will announce next steps by the end of next week.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
