Sully Student Honored by Elks

Adama Conteh, a fifth-grader at Sully Elementary, was recently awarded second place in the Loudoun Elks Americanism Essay Contest.

Adama wrote about the freedom and privileges she has living in America and how proud she is to be an American citizen.  CEO Patsy Schierlmann of Global Commerce Systems and a Loudoun Elks essay official, along with fifth-grade teacher Lynne Mroz, surprised Adama with  the award at Sully’s fifth-grade promotion ceremony.

Adama received a cash award, an engraved plaque and an honorable mention in the Elks Fourth District Essay contest.
