Stone Hill Shines in eCybermission

Two teams from Stone Hill Middle School earned top honors in the eCybermission competition.


The competition is sponsored by the U.S. Army Educational Outreach Program. It is a web-based program designed to cultivate student interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and in solving real-world problems in their local communities.


A team of sixth-graders from Stone Hill won first place in both the state and region.  They will advance to the national competition to be held June 16th through 21st in Washington, D.C. Team members are Sam Rao, Amulya Gottipati, Yug Kolla and Ajay Penugonda.


A second team of sixth-graders won honorable mention in the state contest. Team members are Aryan Yelisetti, Kaustav Guttikonda and Curran Kasireddy.


Both teams are coached by Spectrum teacher Heather Jackson.
