Posted by Andrew Davis on 5/25/2018

Greetings Parents,

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  Join me in thanking all those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms.  Please remember to talk with your children about this very special day!

I want to congratulate our 3rd-5th graders on their efforts on our yearly SOL tests!  I also want to thank our incredible teachers and assistants who have given so much of their time, energy, and care to prepare the children.

Our Field Day is always a big event. Our field days are theme based and non-competitive in nature. We will have one day of field day, this year.

Tuesday, June 5th from 8:45-2:00. One Day. Whole School. Good Times. Rain Date: Wednesday, June 6th from 8:45-2:00.

We always need volunteers for these special days. We will have 20-25 stations and the classrooms travels around the stations as a whole, but the classroom teacher always needs an extra hand.. As far as a number of volunteers needed. It takes between 60-75 volunteers for each field day. If you are interested in helping please sign up for what type of station you would be interested in helping Mr. Turrill with or you can sign up for helping your childs classroom teacher. You can sign up for a morning shift, an afternoon shift, or you can sign up for both shifts and stay for the whole day. For more information send Mr. Turrill an email  eric.turrill@lcps.org or go to www.rhepe.com .
