2023-2024 Registration Information for K-5

2023-24 REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR K-5

 

We are excited to welcome our newest Liberty Eagles to school next year! Pre-Registration is now open for the 2023-24 school year. For 2023-24 enrollment in kindergarten, the student’s fifth birthday must be no later than September 30, 2023.  The date of birth must be on or before September 30, 2018. 

 

  • After you submit the online pre-registration, parents and legal guardians must still provide supporting documentation at a face to face meeting at the zoned school. Check the school attendance boundaries with the LCPS School Locator Dashboard to determine your zoned school based on your home address.

 

  • Families New to LCPS
    • Click on the Online Pre-registration Login link at the left (top for mobile) or go to https://register.lcps.org.
    • Follow the steps in the Online Pre-registration Getting Started guide (ENG) (SPAN) to create your ParentVUE account and start the Online Pre-registration process.
    • On the Introduction screen, be sure to pick the correct school year for your students.

Parent of a Current LCPS Student

With an active ParentVUE account:

    • Click on the Online Pre-registration Login link at the left (top for mobile) or go to https://register.lcps.org and log in with the user name and password you use to log into ParentVUE.
    • Follow the steps in the Online Pre-registration Getting Started guide guide (ENG) (SPAN). Be sure to pick the correct school year for your students and Exclude any current LCPS students from the process.

Without an active ParentVUE account:

    • Contact your child’s school to obtain a copy of the Activation Key letter.
    • Click on the ParentVUE Login link at left (top for mobile) or go to https://portal.lcps.org.
    • Follow the steps in the ParentVUE - Getting Started guide (ENG) (SPAN)  to activate your account.
    • Return to this page and click on the Online Pre-registration Login link at left (top for mobile) or go to https://register.lcps.org and log in with the user name and password you just created.
    • Follow the steps in the Online Pre-registration Getting Started guide (ENG) (SPAN). Be sure to pick the correct school year for your students and Exclude any current LCPS students from the process.

Parents of Past LCPS Students Registering New or Returning Students

If any of your children have attended LCPS in the past, you must follow these steps:

    • Determine your zoned school based on your home address and the LCPS School Locator Dashboard.
    • Contact your zoned school to request a ParentVUE Activation Key letter.
    • Follow the steps in the ParentVUE - Getting Started guide (ENG) (SPAN) to activate your account. Since you do not have an active LCPS student, the Online Pre-registration site at https://register.lcps.org will open once you complete the account activation.
    • Follow the steps in the Online Pre-registration Getting Started guide (ENG) (SPAN) (skip the Create My ParentVUE Account section). Be sure to pick the correct school year for your students and Exclude any past LCPS students from the process who will not be re-enrolling.
