It is with great excitement that I share with you the application for the 2019 LCPS Student Maker Showcase at the Academies of Loudoun.  This event will be on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Academies of Loudoun (the backup date is Thursday, March 28, 5:30-7:30 pm).

This is a public showcase of student exhibition of making in school. It is for classroom innovation and hands-on learning where teachers and students celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects, and the Do-It-Yourself mindset – students in grades K-12 from across the division are invited to showcase their creativity. Students will be provided dinner in addition to other presenter gifts (teachers who are sponsors for the student presenters will also be provided dinner).

If students at your school would like to present at the showcase, please fill out the application or share it with your teachers so that they may complete it – the due date for applications is Friday, February 22. Submissions will be reviewed and acceptance notifications will be communicated out no later than Friday, March 1.
