Ms. Stacie Ahrens-Mininberg will serve as the principal of the Douglass School beginning on August 8th.
Stacie taught special education classes at Broad Run and Woodgrove High School in the areas of biology, math, and English. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from St. Joseph College. She also holds a Master’s in Administration from Shenandoah University. She has served as supervisor for Virtual Loudoun since 2014. Prior to that role, Stacie served as an assistant principal and placement coordinator for C.S. Monroe Technology Center.
Stacie has been instrumental in developing scalable systems for virtual and personalized learning experiences.
She brings with her a collaborative leadership style, dedication to supporting non-traditional learners as well as providing equitable and authentic learning experiences in the alternative environment.
