DOMINION HIGH SCHOOL COMMUNITY YARD SALE - SATURDAY, MAY 18 2019

Typically the goods in a flea market are unwanted items from your household with the home owners conducting the sale. The items can be new, like-new, or just usable. Some of these items are offered for sale because the owner does not want; need the item to minimize their possessions, or to raise funds.  If you are moving, doing a “spring cleaning” or would like to earn some extra money, this is the perfect place for you.  Samples of items for sale include old clothing, books, toys, household knickknacks, lawn and garden tools, sports equipment, and board games. Larger items like furniture and occasional home appliances are also sold.

 

You may sell your items out of your vehicle where you will have 1 parking space for your car & a 2nd one next to it to display and sell your items!   OR, you can buy 2 spots where you can unload your items, park your car in the designated parking area and have 2 spots to display your items!

All vendors must comply with the following to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all:

 

PER LOUDOUN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL POLICY:  The following items are prohibited at the event:

. Fireworks, flammable goods, or anything that could cause a fire.

. Any counterfeit goods.

. Any stolen goods.

. Expired foods.

. Pornographic material.

. Living creatures.

. Vendors may also NOT sell food/drinks.

. Cigarettes, tobacco products, and alcohol.

. ANY type of weapon, gun, or sword (even replica or ornament).

 

 

TIMELINE:

6:00am until 6:30am       Vendor vehicles must be in assigned parking spaces.

6:30am until 7:00am       Set-up of your sales area.  Vendors must bring all needed supplies (tables, chairs, bags, cash box, etc.)

7:00am until 2:00pm       Event is open to the public.  Vendor vehicles MUST remain in place until 2pm for safety reasons.

2:00pm until done           Vendors need to remove ALL materials and exit the lot.

 

WEATHER:                         This event will be held RAIN or SHINE!  Please plan accordingly.

 

TRANSACTIONS:              Vendors are solely responsible for any and all transactions that take place during the event, and claims made with regard to the condition of any items sold.  Dominion High School will not be responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items or transactions between a buyer and a seller.  The event coordinators reserve the right to remove, for the remainder of the event, any vendor who violates the regulations listed above.
