Students Answer Nursing Shortage

The Practical Nursing Program, during their second semester, chose for their One to the World project the challenging problem of providing an answer to the nursing shortage by filling employment needs with Licensed Practical Nurses in health care facilities, not only in Loudoun County, but throughout the nation.

Their product for the world is the Licensed Practical Nurse which they will become after graduation and upon passing the NCLEX-PN, a national licensing exam.  The way the students will connect with the world is that they will be employed in various health care facilities, such as INOVA Hospital and Ashburn Pediatrics.
