Five Schools Earn Purple Star Award

Five Loudoun County Public Schools were named recipients of the Purple Star Award for the 2023-24 school year: Cardinal Ridge and Legacy elementary schools; J. Michael Lunsford Middle School; and Riverside and Rock Ridge high schools.

In addition to a recognition resolution, each school will be presented the coveted Purple Star Award challenge coin. This coin recognizes the practice of bestowing unit coins to those who have contributed to the mission.
