Kindness is always in season with Belmont Ridge SCA

The Belmont Ridge Middle School Student Council Association (SCA) extended its community kindness to Rolling Ridge Elementary (RRES) by fulfilling and delivering 246 shoebox gifts to RRES 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, helping meet its service-learning project goal for the year. The shoebox gifts contained several essential items, small toys and gifts and brought tidings and joy to students before leaving for winter break.

The Belmont Ridge Middle School students involved with the service project were able to actively learn and develop by participating in this thoughtfully organized project. The positive impact on the RRES students promoted a sense of connectedness between schools and demonstrated pride in the community.

Belmont Ridge SCA wishes to thank everyone who contributed to this project, including liaisons, substitutes, and secretaries who wrapped shoebox gifts in their precious few minutes of downtime each day.
